MIKABEN se pat sèlman yon chantè ki te gen ampil talan, li te yon pwodiktè ak yon konpozitè mizik, li te ekri mizik, li te yon antrenè vokal, ak yon aktè tou. C’est avec le cœur lourd que nous adressons le décès de notre très cher Mikaben, un homme extraordinaire doté d'un charisme et d'une positivité formidables. Une véritable icône et un pionnier de l'industrie musicale.
En plus d’être un chanteur talentueux, Mikaben était aussi un producteur/compositeur de musique, un parolier, un coach vocal, et un acteur. Outre ses nombreux talents, Mikaben était avant tout un homme gentil et généreux, un père aimant, un mari dévoué, et un homme de famille équilibré. Nous sommes vraiment reconnaissants pour tous les beaux moments qu'il a partagés avec nous dans la vie et à travers sa musique. Il nous manquera profondément et son héritage vivra pour toujours. Merci pour tout Mikaben.
Nous tenons à remercier particulièrement tous les fans dévoués, pour l’amour et le soutien inébranlables qu’ils continuent de manifester. En tant que représentants officiels de son patrimoine, nous sommes reconnaissants pour toutes les marques d’affection que nous avons reçues de ceux qui, à travers le monde entier, ont honoré Mikaben. Nous sommes touchés par chaque geste, par la publication et la diffusion abondante de ses chansons, par tous les artistes créant des dessins, des peintures murales et autres, et par tous ceux qui organisent des veillées et qui se rassemblent en sa mémoire.
Afin de lui rendre hommage, nous continuerons à mettre à jour sa plateforme pour honorer sa mémoire et partager des moyens de soutenir sa famille et les causes qui lui sont chères.
En réponse à l’abondance de générosité manifestée par le public, et avec notre accord, la famille de Mika a mis en place un canal pour accepter les dons destinés au soutien de son patrimoine. Les dons seront alloués ainsi : la majorité des dons ira à un fond commémoratif pour aider à couvrir les dépenses associées aux trois enfants de Mika : écolage, université, soins médicaux et fonds d’épargne. Ti Souf, l'organisation à but non lucratif créée par Mika pour apporter un soutien au peuple haïtien, en recevra une portion également.
Les funérailles de Mikaben auront lieu à Miami, en Floride, le dimanche 6 novembre. Pour nos amis d'Haïti, une messe sera célébrée. Les détails seront communiqués prochainement pour permettre, à tous ceux qui le souhaitent, de venir lui rendre hommage.

It is with a heavy heart that we are addressing the untimely passing of our beloved Mikaben, an incredible human being with tremendous charisma and positivity. A true icon and a pioneer in the music industry.
Mikaben was not only a talented singer, but also a music producer/composer, a songwriter, a vocal coach, and an actor. Along with his many talents, Mika was above all, a kind and generous man, a loving father, a devoted husband and a well-rounded family man. We are truly grateful for all the beautiful moments he shared with us in life and through his music. He will be profoundly missed and his legacy will live on forever. Thank you, Mikaben, for everything.
We’d like to acknowledge Mikaben’s devoted fan base for their endless love and support. As official representatives of his estate, we want to express our gratitude for the support that we have received from everyone around the world who has been honoring Mika. We are touched by each gesture, by the posting and streaming of his songs, by the many artists creating drawings, murals and more, and by everyone holding vigils and gathering in his memory.
In order to honor him, we will continue to update his platform to cherish his memory, and we will share ways to support causes dear to him.
In response to the outpouring of generosity shown by the public, and with our endorsement, Mika’s family has already set up a link to accept donations towards his legacy. Donated funds will be allocated essentially as such: The majority of the funds will go to a memorial fund to help cover expenses that Mika’s three children will incur, which will include primary education, college education, medical expenses, and savings. Ti Souf, the non-profit Mika founded to provide support to the people of Haiti, will also receive a portion.
Mika’s funeral will take place first in Miami, Florida on Sunday november 6th.
As for our friends in Haiti, there will be a mass. The details will be communicated soon to allow all who wish to come and pay tribute to him.
